X-Men: And Now a Message From Trask Industries

Contributor

The publicity team behind the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past movie released a new viral video for Trask Industries, the company behind the main antagonists in the movie. The video gives us a look at the company and the Sentinels that are designed to protect humans from mutants. A website for the fictional company has also been set up.

The video gives us a quick glimpse at the killer Sentinels that will serve as the prominent bad guys in the movie. The company is headed by Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage), who can be seen below in all his ’70s glory.

The website for Trask Indutries is also a wonderful insight into the “company” with a lot of information about genetic mutations that cause mutants to be, well, mutants as well as the dangers these mutations pose.

The movie will see the present day X-Men sending Wolverine back to the ’70s to try and save the world from the devastation Trask Industries may cause. Anyone who has already seen The Wolverine may be able to link this to a certain scene.  As Wolverine goes back, we will also be seeing the past versions of some of the X-Men, meaning both past and present X-Men members will be in the same movie.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to hit cinemas May 23, 2014.

Trask is an anagram for Stark… coincidence? Or crazy Marvel scheme?

      AMAZING.

It’s a coincidence. Trask and it’s founder Bolivar Trask have a long history in the Marvel universe and none of it is related to Stark or Stark industries. Also X-men rights are held by Fox so this is completely disconnect from anything Marvel/Disney are doing with their universe.
