Vin Deisel Teases Potential Inhumans Involvement

Contributor

Coming off his hugely successful performance as Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vin Deisel is continuing to tease and hope for more involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was very vocal in the run-up to the negotiations and announcement of his casting as Groot, and he still seems to really want to be in Marvel films. I guess Guardians of the Galaxy 2 just isn’t enough.

In a post on his Facebook page today, Vin Deisel decided to hint at his involvement in another Marvel franchise: The Inhumans. The reference was pretty thinly veiled, as you can see below.

He may just be hoping and pushing Marvel’s buttons, but he is a fan favorite for the casting of Black Bolt, the ruler and leader of The Inhumans. While no Inhumans movie has been made official yet, after the success of fringe unknown heroes in Guardians of the Galaxy, it wouldn’t be surprising if Marvel decided to launch another new team. The tie-in with the Kree, who are critical to the story of The Inhumans, makes the new addition to the universe even more attractive. So many potential crossovers!

Could this be the mysterious universe fusion that Vin Deisel has hinted at in the past? Hopefully we’ll find out soon.

There has been a lot of talk that the Inhumans might fill the roll of mutants in the MCU as mutants are stuck out at Fox. So it does seem likely we will get an Inhumans film down the line. I wonder if Skye from Agents of Shield will be the first revealed Inhuman.
