Marvel is slowly but surely expanding their group of superheroes, and a new hero will be appearing in the third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok. Creed actress Tessa Thomspon is joining the MCU as a new hero, but as to who that hero is, we do not yet know.
We do know that she is described as a new love interest for Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. Which begs the question: What about Jane? The end of Dark World and the boast-off between Thor and Tony in Age of Ultron over whose girlfriend is cooler point to the relationship between Thor and Jane being seemingly as strong as it ever was. Maybe long-distance relationships are even harder when people are separated by vast spans of space. Either way, hopefully we’ll soon know which hero Thompson will be portraying.
The new Thor film is hitting theaters next year, but we still know very little about the plot. Some people think it’ll revolve around the Thor cyborg clone created by Tony during the events of the comic event Civil War, and others think it’ll be about the Norse myth prophesying the end of the world. What we do know is that the movie will take place off-Earth, and a more verbal Hulk will be teaming up with Thor.
Thor: Ragnarok will release on November 3, 2017.
