In an effort to cause nerds around the world to simply up and die, Warner Bros. has released a new Wonder Woman trailer! The new 2 1/2 minute spot spends more time on the story and plot of the film – and seems to confirm that the Wonder Woman: Year One story is being told by Diana Prince in modern times. Perhaps she’s telling Bruce? Or Barry? Regardless – peep the below and then come back for more flailing.
Real talk: I have yet to see any promotional material for this film without getting chills and tearing up. Not one poster. Not one interview. Not a second of a trailer nor music cue has failed to affect me. Hera help us, I don’t know if I can make it to June. Themyscira is gorgeous. The Amazons look fierce. Chris Pine is a perfect Steve Trevor. And Diana kicks so. much. ass.
Look at this.
LOOK AT THIS.
Someone help me.
Also this is the first time that I’ve realized that Etta Candy is being played by Lucy Davis (Dawn from The Office U.K.) and I am THRILLED for all of the hilarious nonsense they’re going to pepper into her dialogue.
We also were gifted a trio of posters to stare at longingly for the next 8 months. Go on. Brace yourselves:
Wonder Woman will be in theaters June 2nd, 2017.
More than 75 years after her debut.
