Gilles Marini will play Sebastian, “a French soldier who returns home to the countryside of Gévaudan, only to discover that a vicious beast… has been terrorizing the people he loves, including his younger sister.” It’s not specified, but it’s probably safe to assume that the younger sister is Marie-Jeanne.
And then we have Lachlan Buchanan, who’ll be playing Henri, “a recluse from the Argent family line who lives alone in a forest grove. Described as wise but guarded, he knows quite a bit about the supernatural world.” We’re not sure exactly how Henri is related to Marie-Jeanne and Sebastian.
Not only will Teen Wolf be giving fans more Argents, but more Lydia as well. Creator Jeff Davis announced via EW that soon we’ll be getting a Lydia-centric two parter. “Her finding her power is critical to the season,” Davis says, adding, “That’s why we decided to make episodes 15 and 16 a two-part episode around her, which is the breaking-Lydia-out-of-Eichen episode.”
Lydia-centric episodes will be very welcome by fans, to say the least. So far this season, scenes with Lydia at Eichen house have been very disjointed from the show’s main timeline, causing a lot of confusion. For example, at the end of the mid-season premiere, Theo and his pack broke into Eichen House to use Lydia as bait to bring Parrish to him, which worked. Parrish showed up in full hellhound mode to rescue Lydia. However, at the beginning of the next episode, none of that was referenced. So hopefully these two Lydia episodes will clear these issues up.
These episodes will also fit into a bigger theme of 5B: piecing the McCall pack back together. It started with these past two episodes, with Scott and Stiles beginning to trust each other again. The next pack member to come back to the fold will be Kira, who returned at the end of this weeks episode, followed by Malia in episode 14. Which will leave Liam as the last to be brought back.
