LeakyCon Announces Lizzie Bennet Diaries Mania for Portland Event


Oh, all right. Like we’d let today be all sadness for Lizzie Bennet Diaries fans in the Leaky world. The following people will be at LeakyCon Portland, talking and meeting and autographing and paneling, and all sorts of other fun stuff.

Wes Aderhold plays Darcy’s childhood friend George Wickham. Wes studied theater at the University of Oklahoma. He starred in Nickelodeon’s The Wonder Girls, and has been a part of several other indie films including The Ghostmaker and Ecstasy of Gold. He is also starring as the British ex-supermodel Sebastian who has just left rehab in the upcoming TV show The Valley. You can follow Wes at twitter.com/WesAderhold.
Julia Cho plays Lizzie’s bff, Charlotte Lu. She has starred in another web series, Jeff and Ravi Fail History. She has also appeared various TV shows, including Hannah Montana and Cougar Town, and in movies including Larry Crowne and the upcoming Wedding Palace. Maxwell Glick stars as Ricky Collins, a childhood acquaintance of Lizzie and Charlotte. LBD was not his first foray into new media— Maxwell has worked on several YouTube projects including the innovative and popular show lonelygirl15, and the online musical Rigamortis: A Zombie Love Story. Daniel V. Gordh plays Bing’s college friend William Darcy, who prefers to be known by his surname only. Daniel is a regular on Cracked.com’s Cracked Advice Board web series. He has appeared on Cold Case, Mad Men and Nightwatcher. Daniel was a spring diver at UC San Diego, where he studied theatre, and he sometimes goes by DVG. Christopher Sean plays Bing Lee, the Bennets’ new neighbor who Mr. Bennet is trying to set up with one of his daughters. You can follow him at twitter.com/ChristopherSean. He has appeared in Twiharder, which was produced by Between the Lines Productions, which Christopher co-founded. He graduated from The Margie Haber School, where he studied acting.
Laura Spencer plays Lizzie’s older sister Jane. Laura also stars in the YouTube show Vanessa & Jan on the WIGS channel, which is part of the YouTube Original Channel Initiative. She has also starred alongside Dominic Monaghan in The Millionare Tour, as well as appeared on various TV shows including 2 Broke Girls and Disney’s Jessie. Mary Kate Wiles plays Lydia, Lizzie’s younger sister. She has worked on other new media projects, including playing Sansa in School of Thrones and Zelda in Squaresville. She also worked on the recently released feature film The Sound and the Shadow. Hank Green is the co-creator and executive producer of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. Hank is best known for his YouTube channel VlogBrothers, which he runs with his brother John Green. Hank’s talents on the internet are seemingly limitless, as he is also executive producer of SciShow and Crash Course and co-owner and chief executive officer of DFTBA records. Rachel Kiley is a writer for The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and the spin-off The Lydia Bennet!! She has also written for The Game Room. Bernie Su is a co-creator of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and serves as the exectutive producer, head writer and director of the show. With LBD, Bernie wanted to experiment with media and tell a story that stretched across platforms. Bernie has tried his hand in YouTube shows before while writing for Black Box TV, which is now a YouTube Premium Channel. He also wrote and created the critically-acclaimed webseries Compulsions.
