Get Another Look at Fantastic Beasts Characters in New Image

The poster, images, and trailer have filled us with joy and anticipation. Though it’s still months away, after tonight we can officially say Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them comes out this year.

The continued release of new images and information will make the wait just a little bit more bearable and Entertainment Weekly has come through with a new look at a few characters in what seems to be a quietly tense moment.

Magizoologist Newt Scamander creeps down a hallway, case in hand, accompanied by Jacob Kowalski, a no-maj baker played by Dan Fogler, and Porpentina Goldstein, a worker at the American Ministry of Magic equivalent MACUSA, played by Katherine Waterston. The trio seem fearful of what they might find beyond that doorway. Or perhaps they don’t want it to find them…

Producer David Heyman also spoke to Entertainment Weekly about why Eddie Redmayne was the right choice for the role.

He’s good at playing outsiders; Newt is a bit of an eccentric, and we felt Eddie could do that with truth.

From what we know of Redmayne’s previous work and what we’ve seen so far from the new film we would have to agree that he’s the perfect Newt.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them premieres in theaters November 18, 2016.
