George R. R. Martin Releases 12 Days of Westeros Holiday Tweets

Curious about how some of your favorite Game of Thrones characters might ring in the holidays? Game of Thrones scribe George R. R. Martin has finally released all of his #12DaysofWesteros tweets, revealing just that. Starting December 10 and ending December 21, Martin tweeted about the major noble houses and their holiday traditions. He gave a festive spin to each by rewriting their house words and parodying famous Christmas poems and songs to reflect the spirit that comes with this time of year. Initially, excited fans thought the countdown might lead to a release date for The Winds of Winter, the sixth novel in Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, prompting the author to announce:

#12DaysofWesteros is NOT a countdown to the release of WoW, we’re sorry for those of you who were  misled, just spreading Christmas Cheer :)
