So in a year that’s been rife with Community-related announcements, we’ve got yet another one: Dan Harmon, creator of the beloved cancelled-then-resurrected show, is penning a book of essays to be released in 2016.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the title of the book has yet to be announced, but Doubleday will be publishing the collection and describes the work thusly: “a mix of the author’s recollections, musings, and riffs.”
This is especially exciting news for anyone who missed out on Harmon’s last piece of published work – a limited-edition selection of Harmon’s blog posts entitled You’ll Be Perfect When You’re Dead, which was briefly available in early 2013.
In addition to his work on Community, which will be returning soon with a sixth season on Yahoo, Harmon works on the Adult Swim animated series Rick & Morty, which will return for a second season in 2015. He also hosts the podcast Harmontown.
